The Vice Chancellor, Abia State University, Prof. E Uche Ikonne has advised students to speak up and exercise some dignity.
The Vice Chancellor made this known today during church services at St. Augustine's Catholic Center,Abia State University and Anglican Chapel of Divine Favour (ANCODIF).
Prof. Ikonne who was accompanied by his wife Barr. Lady Uzoamaka Uche-Ikonne and Some management members gave kudos to the church for their unalloyed love and support.
He admonished students to always be of good behavior as godliness with contentment is great gain.
The Vice Chancellor further advised those who may decide to treacherously scuttle this God giving processes of change in Abia State University for pecuniary selfish interest to desist from such as consequence attached will not be palatable.
Earlier in his sermon that centered on 'THE LORD OUR TEACHER' ,The Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Paschal Onyemelusi, admonished the assembly on the need for Christians to choose the part of righteousness.
"Today we celebrate him who speaks with authority and to whom we must give our undivided attention"
" I will raise up my prophet and I will put my words into his mouth"
He further described Professor Ikonne as God's special gift to Abia state University and prayed God's continual grace to fearlessly drive this task ahead.
The worship featured a special prayer for Prof. Ikonne,Abia State University and his Administration.
