On Thursday September 28th 2017, the vice chancellor Abia State University uturu,
prof. E.U. IKONNE, accompanied by the deputy vice chancellor academics prof IFY ELEKWA and the deputy vice chancellor administration prof. EZE OGBULU, along side other university hierarchies and all the professors and HOD's in the faculty of biological and physical sciences, arrived the faculty to commission some of the projects carried out by the 2016/2017 JASS administration, led by comr ANELE ERNEST as the president.
Amongst the projects carried out by 2016/2017 Jass administration led by COMR ANELE ERNEST are:
1) Lighting of the main faculty building ( JASS BLOCK)
2) Purchase of 3 projectors for the faculty
3) purchase of 3 projector screens
4) purchase of 1 router
5) purchase of one presenter
6) purchase of 11 office chairs for all d professors in d faculty
7) construction of the JASS sign post. To mention but a few.
High lights of the event were:
Presentation of the JASS cardigan to d VC and the two DVC's,
official unveiling of d JASS cardigan by the vice chancellor.
The vice chancellor in his speech promised to put d new exam hall in order were d projectors will be mounted and used for lectures and other academic purposes. Truly our story must change.
